Go High Level India Live Event – Execution Over Everything

Go High Level India Live Event – Execution Over Everything

March 05, 20265 min read

Just wanted to share some appreciation for the Go High Level India Live Event.

I’ve attended events before — not hundreds, but enough to compare — and I can confidently say this was one of the most valuable ones so far.

Myself and Naveen attended, and we were representing our GHLHero (a dedicated brand to cater Go HighLevel Clients).

No promotion here — just genuine respect for what the team built.

As someone who works deeply in CRM systems, automation, fintech integrations, and marketing workflows, events like this aren’t just about inspiration — they’re about clarity, direction, and meaningful conversations.

Here’s a recap of our three days.

The Founders’ Story (This Hit Different)

Highlevel founders

One of the most powerful moments for me was hearing from the founders, Varun and Robin.

They shared how GoHighLevel was born — and what really stood out was how non-glamorous the origin story was.

During the Q&A, someone asked:

“How did you finalize the name and the logo?”

The answer?
There was no big branding strategy.

  • The logo? Hired someone from Fiverr.

  • No deep brand positioning exercise.

  • No dramatic backstory.

  • No weeks of brainstorming.

The name “High Level” apparently came up casually (even influenced by a family suggestion), but the domain wasn’t available — so they went with Go High Level.

Same with LeadConnector — named and finalized in like 15 minutes.

That was such a powerful reminder.

In today’s era, so many founders obsess over:

  • Perfect name

  • Perfect logo

  • Perfect positioning

  • Perfect visual identity

But GoHighLevel just focused on one thing:

👉 Listening to users.
👉 Building what customers actually demanded.
👉 Delivering revenue-driving tools.

That’s it.

No branding drama. Just execution.

And honestly, that might be the biggest takeaway for any founder or agency owner.

WhatsApp Business & Automation with Chris Dillon

chrit dillon

One of the most exciting sessions was by Chris, who spoke about leveraging WhatsApp for business growth.

In India especially, WhatsApp isn’t optional — it’s essential.

The discussion around:

  • Automated WhatsApp flows

  • Conversational marketing

  • Engagement-based messaging

  • Using messaging apps beyond basic broadcasting

…was incredibly relevant to what we’re already building and what we plan to expand into.

It wasn’t just theory — it was actionable.

Neil Patel – “60 Charts That Will Change Marketing in 2026”

Neil

The event opened strong with Neil Patel.

His keynote — “60 Charts That Will Change the Way You Do Marketing in 2026” — was data-driven and sharp.

Two major takeaways:

Speed to Lead Still Kills (in a good way)

If you respond within 5 minutes, your chances of converting a lead increase dramatically.

This aligns perfectly with what many of us build inside GoHighLevel:

  • Instant triggers

  • Automated SMS

  • Call routing

  • Immediate follow-up sequences

Speed isn’t optional anymore. It's a competitive advantage.

Data-Backed Marketing > Guesswork

He emphasized leveraging CRM data properly — not just collecting it. Using automation + analytics inside GoHighLevel to actually improve conversion rates.

Michael Remir – The CRM Operator’s Perspective

Michael Remir (CRM Pros) broke down how he built his business and now helps clients scale using GoHighLevel.

This session felt very relatable for agency owners.

He emphasized:

  • Deep implementation knowledge

  • Understanding client workflows

  • Becoming a systems partner, not just a funnel builder

For anyone building a GHL-focused agency, this was gold.

Priya Jagannathan – Community-Led Growth

Priya Jagannathan shared a powerful story.

She quit her job, moved countries, and built her agency from scratch using:

  • Communities

  • Strategic positioning

  • ‘Proper integration of GoHighLevel within client systems

What I loved most was her focus on community-driven business growth. Not ads first. Not hacks. Real relationships. Very actionable.

Operators & Growth-Focused Speakers

Beyond the keynotes, what truly stood out were the operators — people actively building, scaling, and implementing real systems inside their businesses.

These sessions weren’t theoretical. They were grounded in execution, revenue models, performance tracking, and structured growth. Each speaker approached scaling from a different angle, but all reinforced one core message: sustainable growth is engineered, not accidental.

Here’s what stood out from each of them:

  • Manish Nath Tiwari – Emphasized building structured, system-driven companies rather than chasing short-term wins.

  • Sahil Sehgal – Shared his practical framework behind building a six-figure accelerator model with clarity and positioning.

  • Umar – Delivered actionable insights on Google Ads, performance marketing, and tracking offline conversions effectively with GoHighLevel.

  • Nipun – Reinforced that scalable growth comes from disciplined execution and engineered strategy.

Networking & Conversations

Between sessions and during lunch, the real gold happened — conversations.

We spoke to:

  • Agency owners scaling from 20 to 200+ clients

  • People building AI-driven support systems

  • Teams automating appointment booking at scale

  • Operators struggling with A2P compliance and deliverability (a topic close to our day-to-day work)

These informal discussions often teach more than stage talks.

By this point, Naveen and I weren’t just listening — we were thinking about implementation.

  • How do we improve automation workflows further?

  • Where can we integrate smarter AI?

  • How do we simplify onboarding?

  • How do we build more predictable lead response systems?

Events are valuable only if they change execution. And this one did.

Key Takeaways for Us

Here’s what we walked away with:

  1. Speed to lead is still king.

  2. WhatsApp and conversational marketing will dominate in India.

  3. Agencies that systemize win.

  4. AI is powerful — but only when layered on top of clean processes.

  5. Community matters more than ever.

My Biggest Takeaway

Branding matters — yes.
But solving real problems matters more.

GoHighLevel didn’t overthink the name.
They didn’t overthink the logo.
They over-delivered on product.

That’s the lesson.

Kudos to the entire team for bringing such a well-organized, high-energy event to India. It genuinely felt like momentum is building here.

I’ll be posting a few photos from the event as well.

If you attended, I would love to hear your biggest takeaway.
